I'm looking for my old jumping pony Rocky this was his stable name.'Rocky the Rocket' is his show name. He was a cob type of some sort we think he had it in him he had feathery feet slightly and a thick mane and tail and quite stocky built, his mane was hogged most of the time. He was a bright bay 13.2hh gelding with no distinctive markings. He was 11yrs old when we had him, he would roughly be about 21/22ish yrs now.
He had such a sweet nature and brave and also very fast and fizzy. He used to get very excited when cantering and he absolutely loved jumping, he used to go towards a jump side ways and then pelt very fast at it, he used to jog some times to generally. He was the strongest pony I ever had he used to have a straight bar pellum. We used to do jumping and the owners before him did affiliated jumping on him and trailblazers.
Our stables at the time was at stapleford abbotts. We bought him from family friends in the area Jimmy,Fran and their daughter Emma who's an excellent rider. I'm not sure what the arrangement was my Dad either gave him back to them or sold him back or something not sure but we couldn't afford Rocky anymore. Please let me know if you know anything about Rocky I would love to know how his doing bless him I have thought about him.
