16hh, chestnut gelding - Calverton

MESSAGE FOR COUNTRY WATCH AND HORSE WATCH MEMBERS

A horse is believed to have been stolen from a farm in Calverton.

A group of nine horses escaped through a farm gate which had been left open. Eight of the horses have been found by the owner, however the chestnut gelding is still missing. He is described as 16 hands; he is chestnut all over with a short tail (which has been chewed by the foals). He is believed to have been stolen as he would normally stay with the herd.

The theft took place overnight between 5 and 6 December.
