Rural Watch and Horse Watch Crime Alerts Bulletin – 24 December 2015

Incident 257 of 17 December - Newbold on Stour
Sometime between 1330 and 1400 17/12/15, a green van with a trailer was seen leaving a rural property on Armscote Rd, Newbold on Stour. The residents later found a Strimech manure fork and grab had gone from the yard.

Incident 192 of 21 December - Wellesbourne
Between 3.30pm on 20 and 12noon on 21 December, offenders cut the gate box and smashed the gate of a field in Walton Road, Wellesbourne and entered the field. The offenders then stole an Ifor Williams 505 horsebox and drove it out of the field.

Rural Watch and Horse Watch Alerts Bulletin – 14 January 2016

Incident 90 of 12 January - Radway
At some point before 10.20am on 12 January, offenders caused damage to fencing and plants at a rented field of a stud premises in Radway.

Incident 39 of 12 January - Claverdon
During the night of 11 into 12 January, offenders stole an Ifor Williams horse trailer from a rural premises in Claverdon after cutting off the gate lock and wheel and hinge locks.

4 to 5 bales of shavings were stolen from a business premises at Bearley at approximately 1545 hrs on 31/1/16.

Incident 101 of 21 February - Moreton Morrell

During the night of 20 into 21 February, offenders stole an Ifor Williams double horse trailer, containing a mini tack box, from a rural premises in Fosse Way, Moreton Morrell. The chain that was securing the trailer was found at the scene.

Some time between 18.00 on 2/3/16 and 10.00 hrs on 3/3/16, unknown offenders have entered a shed containing hay and a stable on Sandy Lane, Fillongley. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

During the night of 9 into 10 March, offenders stole a dummy CCTV camera from stables premises in Stonebridge Road, Coleshill.

Rural Watch & Horse Watch Crime Alerts Bulletin - 22 March 2016

Incident 100 of 16 March - Harborough Magna
During the night of 15 into 16 March, offenders entered a secure stable yard in Harborough Magna by cropping two padlocks off the main gate. Once in site, the offenders damaged fencing in a paddock, which allowed Shetland ponies to escape to another field. The offenders then cropped the padlocks off two stable doors and off two metal storage containers. Several items were stolen.

Incident 313 of 20 March - Bedworth
At some point before 6.30pm on 20 March, offenders entered an outbuilding used as a tack room at a farm premises in Smorrall Lane, Bedworth after forcing open the door. Once inside, the offenders carried out a search before making off with a quantity of riding tack.

RW HW N&S Rural Watch & Horse Watch Crime Alerts Bulletin - 22 April 2016

Incident 59 of 16 April - Middleton
During the night of 15 into 16 April, offenders crossed fields and entered stables at a farm premises in Middleton and used two wheelbarrows to steal a full set of horse harness, w horse collars, 3 saddles and 2 egg inclubators. The wheelbarrows were later discovered around 1/4 mile away.

Incident 64 of 21 April - Cubbington
Between 14 and 21 April, offenders stole a jewellery box, containing items of jewellery, from a mobile home at an equestrian premises in Cubbington.

Suspicious Circumstances, Hurley

Incident number: 31 of 18/8/16
Date: 18/08/2016

On the morning of 18th August an incident was reported of damage and suspicious activity at a rural property in Hurley. Fencing had been moved and horses were found to be in different paddocks, damage had also been caused to a stone wall.

Please be aware of the following incidents, which have occurred at farms and rural premises, across Warwickshire, over recent days:

Incident 86 of 12 September - Bulkington: During the night of 11 into 12 September, offenders broke into a tack room at a stables premises in Shilton Lane, Bulkington.

The offenders pulled panels from the tack room before entering the area to steal a red coloured quad bike.
