Gambini Boy, 16hh-17hh, dun gelding

Post by eriwinn »

We are trying to trace this horse. He is a 16hh to 17hh plus, dun gelding.

He was bred in Wales and was given the name Saintwestwell Golden Breeze.
He was sold in 2005 approx to people who had the surname Keegan and they lived in the Norfolk / Suffolk area

In 2008, he was sold by Exmoor Eventing with the name Gambini Boy. They were told that he was from Ireland.
This is a youtube video of Gambini Boy whilst he was at Exmoor Eventing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEl4pBdacL4

Uploaded on 3 Oct 2008
Striking looking young horse, recently imported from Ireland. Lovely loose paces and a correct, honest jump. Careful and bold - SJ and XC schooled, easy on the flat. Currently being quietly schooled and cubbed - very good with hounds. Amazing temperament and attitude. Anyone's ride.

Gambini Boy Sold via Exmoor Eventing in 2008

Post by eriwinn »

Looking for a large Dun 16hh to 17hh plus. Sold via Exmoor Eventing 2008. They were told he was from Ireland. And knew him by the name of Gambini Boy. However he was actually breed in Wales, given the name Saintwestwell Golden Breeze and was sold initially to Norfolk/Suffolk area 2005 ish to people by the surname of Keegan. We are trying to trace this horse. Please see Exmoor Eventing video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEl4pBdacL4

Does he have any white markings ? I can't quite tell if he has a white sock on his near-hind.
How old is he now ?

Have you asked Exmoor Eventing where and who Gambini was sold to ?
Was E.E. based in Somerset when Gambini was sold ?

Hi

On his near hind below fetlock he has white. And a very dispersed star on his head. His mane also settles onto the near (wrong) side.
He'll be 11 years.
Exmoor Eventing were then based in the South West, they were selling him on behalf of an Emma Cooper, but no further info as to contacting Emma nor who he was sold to. Name and breed changed from what we bred him as so all very difficult in tracing him. Have been trying on and off for years! E.E. don't know who bought him in the end, was removed from their yard before purchase happened.
