There has been no news on Billy Whizz, he will be 17 yrs old now.
Updated 22-15pm
Microchip 977200007288289
He had a blown tendon
It was early 2010 when Billy went missing.
Billy did go to Clandon Farm but a later check found him not there
Owners were told he was PTS but no evidence of this

This horse possibly does sound like a horse at Clandon that was put to sleep. What area of the country did you originally loan him to. Because the Clandon horse was bought and paid for.

His owner lives in Plymouth, he was loaned to Dorchester
Re: (ned mol) Billy Whizz, 16.2hh, chestnut gelding
It does sound like the same horse. That went to Clandon and was pts. He was deemed unsuitable for riding due to health issues in vetting. The Plymouth people would not return the money or take him back even though they were notified he would be pts if he was not collected. Speak to Dorset Equine Vets although vet concerned is now practicing on his own.
Re: (ned mol) Billy Whizz, 16.2hh, chestnut gelding
The question is was he loaned to a 3rd party in the Plymouth area who sold him on to the Dorchester people? As they bought him in good faith. However they were naive in not having him vetted before paying the money and collecting him. They had him vetted by their own vet when they got home. The vet deemed him to have health issues that prevented him being a riding horse. The people they bought him from would not take the horse back even when they were told he would have to be pts. They never got their money back. It was an extremely distressing time for a genuine family whose only mistake was their nievity in not having the horse vetted before payment. I know this info because the horse was stabled next to mine and was only at the yard for a week or two. I also saw the horse being removed.TracingEquines wrote:His owner lives in Plymouth, he was loaned to Dorchester

The owner says Billy was loaned to a man, name unknown.
The paperwork and loan agreements have been lost through several house moves.
They are not sure that it is the same horse.
I have removed the post from facebook.
