Hi all just to let you know there are thieves in the Wrexham, Caego area. We had our gate bolt cut last night and barn lock cut and had a number of bales of hay stolen. The sick thing is they left all our gates open. Lucky enough our horses stayed in the field.

Hi all just to let you know it may be nothing Friday I checked my horse he had no water and his head collar was on the gate checked again sat no water again and his head collar was on and no water again and also he had a plat in his main wiv a knot on the bottom, Sunday I was going over brynford mountin and was behind a trailer wiv a Irish plate on with a red 4x4 pulling it it may be nothing just be aware !!!

Over £5,000 tack stolen from Caldicot Saddlery (south wales)

Theft of horse tack at Usk Show Ground - Gwent Police Incident Number 461 13/09/13.

Sometime between Friday 13th September 1600hrs and Saturday 14th September 0730hrs, over £5000.00 worth of horse tack has been stolen from Caldicot Saddlery at Usk Show.

The following items have been taken:

8 x Ascott leather head collars, black and brown in colour.

40 x Chantilley/castle Martin gales, black and brown in colour.

20 x Cottage craft/shires bandage sets. All colours, pink, white, green, black, blue, purple etc.

12 x Chantilley breast plates, nut brown and black in colour.

19 x Castle flash Nose bands, brown and black in colour.

15 x Plastic compostm irons/stirrups, steel cheese grates and all colour treads.

20 x Chantilley/Avignon bridles, chestnut and black in colour.

6 x KM elite/Stevens equestrian sheepskin saddle pads, white, black and brown in colour.

6 x KM elite/Stevens equestrian saddle cloths, brown, white, cream, black in colour.

10 x Cottage craft sheepskin nose bands, cream, white, black, brown in colour.

If anyone has been offered or has any information on the above, please ring Gwent Police 101/01633838111 quoting incident no. 461 13/09/13.

Theft of Tack – Hengoed, Gwent

Crime Ref: 229 09/01/2014.
Sometime between 10am and 3pm on 07/01/14, in the Gelligaer, Hengoed, Gwent area, unknown
persons have entered an unlocked stable located in a field and removed tack from within.
1 x leather saddle (make unknown valued at approx. £200).
2 x bridles blue in colour (make unknown).
1 x breast plate (make unknown).

Theft of Winter Feed – Hengoed, Gwent

Crime Ref: 121 27/01/14.
Sometime over the weekend between 24/01/14 and 27/01/14, at a farm in Gelligaer, Hengoed, Gwent, a
large quantity of high value animal winter feed has been stolen from an insecure farm building. (no
further information known at this time).
If anyone has any information on the above, please ring Gwent Police on 101 quoting the incident
number.
Please insure all tack and valuable items are securely locked away and out of sight at all times.

Theft of Quad Bike & Tools – Argoed, Gwent

Crime Ref: 127 1/2/2014.
Sometime over night at a Farm in Argoed, Gwent area, a green Kawasaki KLF300 C6F quad bike was
stolen. Fences were cut to make their escape, a Husqvarna chainsaw was also taken at the same time. If
you know anything about this theft or get offered either item cheaply please ring Gwent Police on 101
and quote the above incident number.

Theft of Trailer – Nr Newbridge, Gwent

Crime Ref: 350 4/1/2014.
Sometime during the day of Tuesday 4th February, from a field in Hafodrynys near Newbridge, Gwent, a
unique trailer has been stolen. The trailer is an ex army type with leaf springs and is sky blue in colour.
Any information would be appreciated. Please ring Gwent police on 101 and quote the above incident
number.

Theft of Horse Clippers & Shavings - Newport

A farm in Bassaleg, Newport area have reported the theft of horse clippers and numerous bags of
shavings that have been taken over several weeks.

Assistance Required: Identification of Vehicles and Equipment

Dear Watch Member,

This message has been sent on behalf of CSO 179 Kelly Lewis.

On 20th February 2014 a warrant was executed in the Twyn Carno area by the Rhymney Neighbourhood Policing Team. A 30 year old male was arrested for theft and handling stolen goods. The male is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

A number of vehicles were seized along with other equipment, and we are now looking for the owners:

1. Red Honda Sportrax Quad
2. Red Honda Foreman Quad
3. White Kawasaki KLX110 bike with ‘Skittle’s’ logos.
4. Farr ATV in green.
5. Red Honda Fourtrax Quad.
6. Childs Yamaha TTR 90 bike in Blue.
7. Blue Yamaha Grizzly YFM125A Quad.
8. Red Argo 8 wheeled vehicle.

STOLEN SHEEP TIPPING CRADLE

Location - Pontyates, Carmarthenshire

A sheep tipping Cradle, 6 rolls of pig wire and a 100cc kids quad have been stolen from the Pontyates area of Carmarthenshire.
The theft took place between 15th & 19th October.

50 STOLEN SHEEP
Location - Llanbrymair, Powys SY19

In the last few weeks 50 Welsh cross sheep have been stolen from a farm in the Llanbrynmair area. All are marked with a black stripe on the shoulders. Tag & holding numbers not known at this stage.

SHEEP BLUDGEONED TO DEATH
Location - ‪Anglesey‬, Wales‬
A sheep found dead in Llangefni was believed to have been bludgeoned by stick-wielding yobs.

The sickening incident was reported to North Wales Police who are now investigating.

It is believed the attack happened sometime over the past few days.

This morning, Sergeant Rob Taylor from the rural crime unit tweeted: “Report of a sheep found dead in Llangefni believed to have been hit by youths with sticks.

HORSES SET FREE
Location - Cefn Fforest, Blackwood, Gwent

On numerous occasions trespassers have accessed a field in the Cefn Fforest area of Gwent setting free two horses by leaving gates open.
Obviously these offenders are causing a danger to the horses involved.
Have you seen anything suspicious in this area recently?
