Appeal for information in the Bredenbury, Bromyard area.
On 22nd October, between 1400-1700hrs a 4ft red and black Logic Topper trailer was stolen from a rural property in Bredenbury. It may have been sighted on the back of a low loader/flat bed near to/on the lane down the side of the Three Pines Garage, Bredenbury. Did you see anything? Theft from rural premises in WORCESTER RD, GREAT WITLEY Crime Number 22CC/71666X/14
Between 15:30:00 on SUNDAY 02-NOV-2014 and 13:30:00 on MONDAY 03-NOV-2014 an outbuilding has been broken into and the following items have been taken:

1. Orange and white Stihl leaf blower, £100.00
2. Red brush cutter, possibly Mitsubishi £140.00
3. MS231 Stihl chainsaw, £400.00
4. Stihl hel...met with visor, £10.00
5. Power Kango £40.00
6. Bosch hand drill/screwdriver £40.00

Alert from West Mercia Police: Theft - Farm, Flagbury Hill
Between 1200hrs 2nd Nov & 0700hrs 3rd Nov a theft of diesel and a battery from a telescopic tractor occurred. The padlock and chain were broken from the gate in order to gain access into the orchard where 3 vehicles have been attacked.0090S 031114

Burglary - Farm Premises, HILL FURZE, PERSHORE
Sometime during the night of 30th Oct a metal farm gate was stolen and a container on site broken into. 0072S 301014

Theft from Barn building - OWLETTS LANE, WICK
Between 1600hrs 1st Nov & 0800 2nd Nov, persons unknown forced entry to a barn building. An Ifor Williams (4 years old) - low loading trailer - double wheels to rear with hitch to the front was stolen.

Criminal Damage – Farm Premises, Dunhampstead
Sometime between 4th-5th Nov people were seen ‘lamping’ on farm land. Damage has been caused to the electric fencing. Road side gates have been damaged and that cattle could have got out on to the train tracks. 0174S 051114

Sheep Hurdles stolen from Milton
Between the 28th of October 2014 and Saturday the 1st of November 2104 approximately 40 aluminium sheep hurdles have been stolen from the Milton area.

The sheep hurdles were situated in a field and are Prattley design and 5ft in length. Enquiries ongoing.

Sheep found dead in Church Stretton
On Saturday morning, 1 Nov, six sheep were found dead in a field near a footpath off the road from Cardington, Church Stretton, to Lea Hill. The flock was last checked on 29 October. Marks on the carcasses suggested an attack by a dog or dogs

Theft from farm in Madresfield
Between Monday 3rd November at 16:00 and Tuesday 4th at 02:00 thieves stole a red forklift vehicle, which was left with the keys in the ignition, from an open barn at a farm premises in Madresfield and drove it off. No further details available at this time OIS Ref 0022S 041114

Theft of Quad Bike -Bickley, Tenbury Wells
Between 1700hrs 02.11.14 and 0800hrs 03.11.14 a quad bike which was stored in a secured brick built outbuilding the door was secured with a padlock and the padlock has been broken off the door and is also missing. The quad bike was secured in the outbuilding with a wheel clamp and this has been bent to release the quad bike. - Honda red quad bike serial number - 1hfte35r6b4400153. Theft of fencing energiser from Sutton St Nicholas
Stolen between 4pm Thursday 30th October 2014 and 11am Friday 31st October 2014, but only reported yesterday was an electric fencer unit from the Sutton St Nicholas area. Although this is just off our area another similar theft has been reported between 9pm Monday 3rd November 2014 and 7.30am Tuesday 4th November 2014 from the Bodenham area where another fencer unit and plastic fencing posts were stolen.

These units are usually in fields to keep livestock or horses in. As you are travelling around if you see anyone removing or moving these types of equipment please jot down the number of the vehicle they are using in case they are not the owners moving the fencing. Theft from farm in Rock Green, Ludlow
Overnight between Mon/Tue 3-4 Nov, a brick outbuilding at a farm at Rock Green, Ludlow, was broken into and a brand new Stihl hedge trimmer was stolen.

Suspicious Vehicle Newnham Bridge to Tenbury Wells
Last night (05/11/14) at around 2210hrs, quite an old style cattle or sheep lorry was seen heading from Newnham Bridge towards Tenbury. You do not regularly see livestock vehicles on the road at that time of night. It had a brown cab and was travelling fast. The number plate was not taken. Incident number 0152s 061114 refers.

Incident: 0802S101114 - Craycombe Farm, Evesham Road, Fladbury: Between 1630 & 2120 10th November, 2 bolts on large wooden door haven been forced and a yellow pressure washer was stolen.

Incident 0082S 131114 - Burglary non dwelling - Main Road, HALLOW, WORCESTER, WR26PH (near to Parkfield lane)
Between 18:00 on 14/11/14 and 06:00 on 13/11/14:
Stables have been broken into and various garden tools taken from within.

Incident: 0473S101114 – Theft of Trailer - Berry Lane, Upton Warren: Between 1400 & 1500 on 10 November, an Ifor Williams twin axle galvanised metal trainer was stolen from the garden of a property.

Incident: 0176S081114 - Seward Road, Badsey: Between 1830 & 0830 on 8 November, 2 Ifor Williams type trailers were stolen from a yard. One is aluminium, double... axle (which are damaged) and flat tyres & a double axle wooden bed with black aluminium caravan chassis were stolen.

Incident: 0215S111114 - Worcester Road, Pirton: Between 1800 & 1100 on 11 November, entry has been gained to a field and 2 transformers from electrical fencing were stolen.

Incident: 0246S091114 - Boston Lane, Hinton-on-the-Green:
Between 1800 & 0900 on 9th November, a barn was entered and a battery circular saw, petrol hedge trimmer and hand held tools were stolen.

Crime No. 22CC/73277Y/14 Incident No. 0453S 101114
THEFT took place between 14:00:00 on MONDAY 15-SEP-2014 and 10:00:00 on FRIDAY 31-OCT-2014 at GLOUCESTER RD, BERROW.

Between times and dates stated the farmer grazed 383 North Country Mule Sheep in a field off Gloucester Road, Berrow, Malvern. Over the period of time, 180 of the sheep were moved out by the owner onto different pastures. When moving the remaining sheep on 31st October 2014, and checking with the sheep licence it has been found that 23 sheep have been stolen by persons unknown.

Theft of A Heifer Cow - Little Hereford, Ludlow
Sometime over last month a black & white Herefordshire cross with Friesian Heifer has been taken from a farm at Little Hereford, Ludlow.

Poaching - Symonds Yat
A Deer was found with horrific facial injuries on 14th November in Symonds Yat East area. The deer is believed to have been shot in the face the night before (13th). Poachers, who Police believe are responsible for this incident, are currently targeting area. Police and Gamekeepers are monitoring the area and any persons caught with equipment used for lamping and poaching will be dealt with robustly including the possibility of having their vehicle, equipment and dogs seized. Burglary at outbuildings of rural home in Peterstow
Persons unknown have bolt cropped a heavy substantial chain and padlock on a gate that leads across a field to access outbuildings. Nothing appears to have been stolen but the offenders came well equipped due to the heavy duty croppers that would have been needed. Offence happened between 17:00hrs and 23:00hrs on Thursday 13th November. OIS:409-S-141114

Suspicious activity around horses in Leominster
During the early hours of Sunday 16th November 2014, persons approached a field gate in the Wigmore area of Leominster. The padlock used to secure the gate was removed and a further two gates were lifted off their hinges. The three horses that are kept in the field were removed but, thankfully, all three have been found in the area and are safe and well.
A rather strange offence but if you see people "fiddling" with gates or locks please jot down the number of the vehicle they are using. It may well be needed in the future if they were not the rightful owners of the property. Please call 101 to report any and all suspicious activity. Incident Number 281s 181114.

Theft of Trailer - Berry Lane, UptonWarren.
Between 1400 & 1500 an Ifor Williams twin axle galvanised metal trainer was stolen from the garden of a property. OIS Incident: 0473S101114

Barn burglary in Boston Lane, Hinton-on-the-Green.
Between 1800 & 0900 9th November, a barn was entered and a battery circular saw, petrol hedge trimmer and hand held tools were stolen. OIS Incident: 0246S091114

Burglary at farm in Evesham Road, Fladbury
Between 1630 & 2120 10th November, Offenders forced open 2 bolts on large wooden door of an outbuilding at a farm premises in Evesham Road, Fladbury and entered the premises to steal a yellow pressure washer.

Burglary at stables in Main Road, HALLOW, WORCESTER (near to Parkfield lane)
Between 18:00 on 14/11/14 and 06:00 on 13/11/14 offenders broke into stables at a rural premises in Hallow, Worcester and stole several gardening tools from inside. Incident number 0082S 131114

Rural & Horse Watch Crime Alerts Bulletin – 2 December 2014

Burglary at WITLEY COURT Crime Number 22CC/75705M/14
Venue is an historic house and gardens managed by English Heritage. The grounds are set in 10 acres of land in a rural location just off the A443 near to Great Witley. Between the 1.15 and 1.50am on 21 November, CCTV captured several persons on the site. The offenders forced their way in to part of the building which houses a stonemasonry. The door lock was forced open and whilst there is evidence that the offenders entered the workshop (a lump of stone has been moved), nothing is missing from within. CCTV is not of evidential quality but the footage suggest that several persons were on the site, some carrying torches and that two unknown vehicles were used by the offenders, described as possibly in their late teens/early 20s.

Theft of Tractor – Lyonshall near Kington, Hereford
A Massey Ferguson 135 (REG DF01 36F) was stolen between 1700 20th Nov-0000 22nd Nov from an outbuilding in Lyonshall near Kington. The red tractor with green canvas cab is in pretty good running order and is quite collectable. It is not known the precise times of the theft, but it is believed to be sometime from 1700hrs Thursday 20th- 0800Saturday 22nd November 2014. OIS Incident Number: 0214S 231114

Model Farm, Hildersley – Criminal Damage
Between Friday 14th and Monday 17th November a number of incidents have occurred on the allotment site whereby vegetables have been stolen and many have been topped and sliced through (not by wildlife), 4 water bowsers have been completely emptied with pipes pushed completely into the soil and other unusual activities. Incident Ref OIS: 200S 211114

Glewstone – Theft
On Sunday 16th November between 07:00 and 22:30 hrs a 2200 litre fuel bowser has been stolen along with an Ifor Williams trailer from a farm. Approximately 1000 litres of fuel was taken. Incident Ref OIS: 207S 211114

Orcop – Theft An Ifor Williams Trailer
A 12’x 6’6’’ Ifor Williams trailer has been stolen from an outbuilding which is situated 150 metres from the victims house in a rural location. Offenders have taken a gate off its hinges in order to gain access to the trailer. Believed that attempts were made to steal a mini digger also but were unsuccessful. Also taken was a quantity of cable, post borer and quantity of hurdles. Incident Ref OIS: 401S 221114

Burglary – Hildersley, Herefordshire
Persons unknown who smashed the front doors to a building sometime between 1600 hrs on 22nd and 0630 hrs on 23rd December broke into farm buildings. Having gained access, the offenders then broke the locks to fridges inside removing twenty four pieces of poultry and gammon, and a sum of money. Enquiries are ongoing. ...

In addition, a metal container containing power tools belonging to the Hildersley Allotments Community Garden next door was forced open and several items were stolen. These included a Honda ride-on mower, a pump / pumping machine, a Stihl brush cutter/ strimmer, a hedge trimmer and a lawnmower. This is a particularly mean spirited offence as the allotments and gardens on Model Farm are run by Envirobility which is a registered charity. They have several plots of land for growing vegetables, and are used by several sectors of the community including young people and those with learning disabilities. OIS Ref: 74-S-231214

Burglary – Farm Premises – Powick
Between Saturday 20th December at 15:00and Saturday 27th at 23:00 thieves broke into a commercial unit at a farm located off Malvern Road, Powick by breaking a padlock. A racing bicycle and various power tools were stolen from the unit. Nothing was seen or heard and although there is CCTV at the location nothing useful was captured. Incident Number: 0273S 281214

Burglary - Cropthorne
Between 18.00 hrs 21/12/2014 & 10.00 hrs 22/12/2014 -Outhouse on farm broken into - lock forced and chain cut. Villager Log Burning Stove stolen. OIS Ref 0556S 221214

Theft – Stoney lane, Crossway Green
Between 18.00 hrs 25/12/2014 & 16.39 hrs 26/12/2014
"Shires" heavy duty winter horse rug - colour pink, and Head collar - colour light blue. Stolen off horse - no injury to the horse.

Between 17.00 hrs 25/12/2014 & 09.30 hrs 26/12./2014 -Stolen off horses

CRIMINAL DAMAGE - PESTILENCE LA, ALVECHURCH
Took place between 12:00:00 on SUNDAY 25-JAN-2015 and 14:00:00 on SUNDAY 25-JAN-2015

Offender/s have damaged the padlock on the gate to which horses are kept.
Premises have not been entered and nothing has been taken.

THEFT between 19:50:00 on FRIDAY 16-JAN-2015 and 21:55:00 on FRIDAY 16-JAN-2015 at HILL VIEW RD, STRENSHAM.
Between times stated, person/s unknown have entered the main entrance into a farm building and prised open the metal roller shutter to the Mill and Nick corn shed, causing damage to the roller shutter. Once inside, they have opened the shutter using the electric switch and have stolen a Land Rover Defender. This vehicle was hitched up to a cattle trailer, which was also stolen.

Ashford Carbonell - Theft
Overnight between Wed/Thurs 11-15 Jan, two outbuildings at a property near the bridge at Ashford Carbonell, Ludlow, were broken into. (OIS incident ref: 0097s 150115)

Steventon - Theft
An outbuilding used as a tack room at Steventon, Ludlow, was broken into, possibly on Wed 14 Jan. Two chainsaws and a Makita drill were taken. (OIS ref: 0609s 150115).

Much Marcle - Theft
Between 11:00 on Tuesday 20th and 08:00 on Wednesday 21st January persons unknown have damaged a lock on a 7ft gate to enter the grounds of a property and stolen an Ifor Williams trailer, a Titon Chipper and a Husqavana ride on lawnmower. A vehicle that was parked at the property has also been broken into. OIS: 114S 210115

Sutton, Tenbury Wells
Between 1600hrs 18th Jan 2015 &1200hrs 22nd Jan unknown person(s) removed a flatside trailer, which had been stored behind a barn.

Tewkesbury Road, Eckington - Theft/Vehicle Crime
Reporting the theft of a red land Rover Defender vehicle between 1900hrs 2nd Feb & 0815hrs 3rd Feb. the vehicle was in a lean to at the side of the farmhouse. OIS Ref: 0098S 030215

Goodrich – Theft.
An electric Shepherd fencing unit in a green case with a white front, was stolen from a livery farm field overnight between 2130 hrs on 4th February and 0630 hrs on 5th February. The unit was stored in a field behind a post to which it was attached. It was not visible from the road. Other similar units on site were not touched. Nothing was seen or heard. OIS: 374-S-050215

RW & HW Incidents at rural premises in Bishopton, Stratford & Bodymoor Heath, Sutton Coldfield

Criminal Damage-Main Rd, Inkberrow
Between evening of 08/03/2015 & 16.00 hrs 09/03/2015
Persons unknown have cut the fence of a sheep field and abandoned a small pony, described as’12 hands high’ in field. The pony is ungroomed, but otherwise appears in good health. A horse and pony rescue is being contacted.

Rural Watch & Horse Watch Bulletin – 20 March 2015

Theft of Horse Trailer - Washford Drive, Park Farm Industrial Estate, Redditch 12th March -Theft of an IVOR WILLIAMS HORSE TRAILER. The trailer was seen at 1545hrs on CCTV travelling in the direction from Washford towards the Woodrow area of Redditch. The trailer contained a horse blanket, nothing else. OIS Ref: 0330S 120315

On 13.03.15 burglary- Round Oak area of Tenbury Wells.
Over night person/s unknown have entered a field by climbing over a gate, approached some wooden buildings used as a stable block and tack store. The first building was entered by forcing off a padlock but nothing appears to have been moved or taken as it contained household items. A hay barn next to this building was then approached and a padlock forced off and entered. Offender/s have made every effort to enter a small metal tack container in the hay barn by continually trying to force the lock off but have failed. OIS Ref: 163-S-130315.

Woolhope area- Poaching
12th March - Report received of deer remains being found at a location off Glowson Lane in Woolhope.
This is the first poaching incident reported in this area for some time. OIS: 0266-S-120315

West Mercia Police encourage public to call if they see poachers, where offences have occurred equipment will be seized and the offenders prosecuted.
Recently there have been successful prosecutions for the crime of poaching.
There is a strong suspicion that whilst these individuals are out in the rural areas poaching/lamping, they are also having a good look at what is around and may be linked to rural thefts/burglaries.

Theft of Battery used on electric fencing- Pinhill Farms, Stockwood
Between 1930hrs 8th April &1730hrs 9th April, the theft of a battery used electric fencing where horses are kept in the field occurred.
OIS Ref: 665-S-090415

Trailer and tractor located in Donnington area of Telford.
Reported to police on 10.04.15 at 16.30hrs.
Trailer and tractor found on landowner’s property. Trailer is an Ifor Williams Double Axle, serial number on trailer chassis EC27559.
Tractor is a Kubuta B7100, 4 wheel drive, orange in colour.
Items believed to be stolen and have been recovered by police - incident number 445-S-100415 refers.

Burglary non-dwelling - land at the Telford Equestrian Centre, TF2 7QG
Between 19:00hrs 10.04.15 and 11:00hrs 11.04.15 - Solar security lighting attached to shed was removed and stolen - A hasp securing shed door unscrewed to gain access to shed, nothing stolen from within. A witness saw two males with two dogs walking near the edge of this field on the evening of the 09.04.15, no other details known.

Suspicious activity reported 13.30hrs 10.04.15 Green Lane area of Wythall.
Theft of electric fencing and where horses are kept –fencing was pulled down and cut into pieces. There were no horses not in the field at the time. Chairs were also stolen from outside the stable yard.

1630hrs 11th April a report was received that a horse in the field had been injured. It is thought a male seen nearby had thrown bricks at the horse. Further enquires and passing attention to be paid at the location.

Burglary other than dwelling at what's known as St Michael's Field, Lower Leys, Cropthorne, Evesham.
Between 1700hrs on 01/04/2015 and 0949hrs on 02/04/2015. The location of the offence is a field of the IP's which is situated in a rural location. Between the stated times, at some point over night, the IP has reported that property has been stolen and damaged on this field. An insecure shed has been entered and a fencing unit that was UV marked has been stolen along with a driving harness, a television and solar panels. Damage has been caused to a shed and the wires here slackened where person/s unknown have climbed over it in order to gain entry to the field. A silver horsebox Daf Lorry has also been broken into but it is unknown what property, if any, has been taken from within. Person/s unknown have made good their escape in an unknown direction.

Between Sunday 5th/Sunday 12th April, a Toyota Hilux parked in a building at a farm undergoing renovation was broken into, and an unsuccessful attempt had been made to start the vehicle. No property appears to have been taken.

Overnight on Tuesday 7th/Wednesday 8th April a rotavator, link box and topper to fit a small tractor were stolen from a secure compound at a business premises. The items, which were heavy, were lifted onto a trolley using a JCB- both were already in the yard - and were removed from the yard by using a makeshift bridge across a ditch onto a lane.

Vowchurch
A Kawasaki off road quad bike model KVF300CCF was stolen from a remote property sometime between 1st and 7th April. The bike was left outside near a wooded area. Incident Ref 233-s-080415
