Rural Watch Alert (North Herefordshire)

Nordan, Leominster

Criminal damage to the property has taken place between 00:00 on Saturday 18th April 2015 and 19:00 on Monday 20th April 2015 at the farm in Nordan, Leominster. Between the stated times person/s unknown have walked onto the site and have placed a piece of metal inside on of the IP's wood chippers. The wood chipper has since been used as no one was aware of the metal inside of the machine and this has caused extensive damage to the blades of the chipped.

Reports of persons unknown have forced entry through secure doors to farm premises. Quad bikes, a brand new buggy and all sorts of tools have been stolen. Livestock was out let out loose. Offenders drove through a rape seed field making off in the direction of Upton. Extensive damage has been caused. INCIDENT HISTORY: Received: 29-APR-2015

Boat Watch Alert

Incidents on canal boats in Bodymoor Heath & Warwick

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred on the canals in Warwickshire over recent days:

Warks Reference: Incident 293 of 26 April
Between 5pm on 23 and 6.45pm on 26 April, offenders entered a narrow boat, used as a home, on the canal in Bodymoor Heath, via the bow doors. Once inside, the offenders carried out a very messy search before making off with several items.

Warks Reference: Incident 280 of 28 April
Between 26 and 28 April, offenders smashed a window on a canal barge on the Grand Union Canal, Warwick and then entered the vessel. Once inside, the offenders carried out a search and stole several items.

Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity on or around the canals and please report anything unusual, or of concern, to Police on 101.

Rural Watch Alert (Leominster)

Between the 2nd and 3rd of May, persons unknown have attended a farm situated in the Bucknell area and have gained access into an outbuilding on the farm yard. Once inside the outbuilding offenders have stolen a green coloured Kawasaki quad bike. Registration: DX54 VBE, three Husqvarna chainsaws and a welding mask.

Rural Watch Alert (High Green, Worcester)

Between 23:30 on Friday 8th May and 07:30 on Saturday 9th May thieves broke into a free-standing garage behind a house in High Green, Severn Stoke by breaking a rear window. Stolen was a large quantity of power tools and gardening equipment. The thieves were also able to force open the front doors of the garage and thereby steal a green Honda 500 quad bike TRX 500F MB Frame / serial number IHFTE31P7B4600527 from inside. See photo insert.
It is believed that the offenders approached the premises via open fields at the rear.

Boat Watch Alert

Symonds Yat – Theft of Canoe
A business based in Ross on Wye reported to Police that a canoe that was hired out has been stolen from its mooring at Symonds Yat. Owner adamant the canoe has been stolen rather than gone adrift, it was secured tightly using the equipment provided by rope to a tree.
Canoe is a ‘Man River 167’ approximate cost of the canoe: £800.

Theft of diesel-Letton, Hereford

Between the 11th and 12th of May persons unknown have attended a farm in Letton and have approached the victim's diesel tank and drained approximately 100 gallons of diesel from the tank.

Burglary non dwelling-Pershore
Overnight on 11-12th May 2015 Travis Perkins at Pershore suffered a burglary where a high volume of power tools were stolen. Further enquiries are being conducted.

Burglary non dwelling-Farm, Ashton Under Hill
Between 21:00hrs 14th May & 07:00hrs 15th May a break in to an agricultural building (barn) which was locked and secured occurred. A number of tools including two hedge trimmers and a Honda engine were stolen. Further enquiries are being conducted.

Rural Watch Alerts (North Herefordshire)

Burglary non-dwelling occurred at Lawton near Eardisland.
Scene is an open fronted stable which is situated in the grounds of a large house. Offenders, two males in white Renault type van driven onto the land, entered the stable and stolen items from within. Two concrete mixer plants have been taken. The offence took place sometimes between 22:25 hours and 22:40 hours on Friday 15 May 2015.

Theft of Heating Oil from Risbury. The offenders approached an isolated property and stole 400 litres of oil from the storage tank adjacent to the road.

Burglary non-dwelling occurred at Lidicot near Shobdon.
Scene is an outbuilding on a farm, it is steel structure locked with a mortice lock. Offender/s gained access through a hole in the side of the structure and taken items from within. They were security lighting and equipment, and compressor. The offence took place sometimes between 12:00hours on Wednesday 13 May 2015 and 12:00hours on Friday 15 May 2015.

Herefordshire South NW/Rural Watch Alert

Ledbury Road/A40,Ross – Burglary

A farm on the outskirts of Ross Town had an outbuilding broken in to. Offence occurred between 21:00hrs Thursday 14th May and 17:00 Friday 15th May.

Offender has gained entry by prising a window then breaking through an internal door in to the workshop. Items stolen include power tools, Dewalt drill, nail guns plus a lap top Mac book pro.

Malvern Hills District NW Alert (Abberley)

Burglary non dwelling-The Village, Abberley
Sometime overnight Wed 20th May & 10:00 Thurs 21st a stable was broken into. Tools, a set of golf clubs and 3 storage crates were stolen. An attempt was also made to take the cement mixer but part of it was left outside and the doors open – it was possible the offender(s) were disturbed.

Between 1200 hrs and 1530hrs 3 June, person(s) unknown have entered stables and have taken items from within:
1 x Briggs and Stratton rotavator, 1 Honda strimmer. No damage was caused to the stable door which was unlocked.

During the last few weeks extensive damage casued to pheasant cut wire pen with metal straining wire which surrounds it. Offenders have removed a metal gate & taken electric isolators & 3 feeders.

THEFT NOT OTHERWISE CODED took place between 16:00:00 on FRIDAY 19-JUN-2015 and 10:15:00 on MONDAY 22-JUN-2015, HOLLYBUSH, LEDBURY, HEREFORDSHIRE
This offence was reported on TUESDAY 23-JUN-2015 09:00:00

The location is a disused quarry accessed via locked gate in a rural area. Between the material times unknown person\s have climbed down a steep bank and used unknown means to force the lock on the gate so that it has opened and allowed access. Offender\s have then stolen victim's trailer.
