At 1600 hrs on Sun 7th Dec 2014 an unknown person (believed to be male) has gone to Morton Service Station, WIGTON Road and filled 2 petrol cans with fuel and then made off without paying for it. They have approached the pump as a car has been parked beside the pump, the driver of the car has gone into the kiosk to purchase something. The staff has thought the offender was with the vehicle and switched the pump on. The offender has crouched between the pump and the car whilst filling the cans so the staff hasn’t been able to see them. The offender has then walked off with the filled cans. The driver of the car has witnessed this and notified the staff.
If you have any information regarding this incident please contact Police via 101 or Crimestoppers Anonymously on 0800 555 111.
