Some adverts have a happy ending, others are not good news hence the name change from Success Stories to something slightly more appropriate

4 horses dumped in field, Tanfield (stanley)

Post by TracingEquines »

Karen Butler - Horses in a field next to Tanfield railway almost on the road tonight, the gate was missing and bales looked to have been moved, no idea if this was malicious or disturbed theft attempt, police informed

Karen Butler - Found out today these 4 horses have been dumped in the field, the field is not secure so they are not safe being there and it is right onto a very busy road. If anyone has any info please contact Carol Swinburn as she is hoping to trace the owners.

Karen Butler - These horses have now being re united with their owners at a local farm, not sure if they were stolen, dumped or had just escaped, apparently the police put them in the field with no gate right next to a very busy road!!
