1 coloured mare, 2 grey geldings - derbyshire

Some adverts have a happy ending, others are not good news hence the name change from Success Stories to something slightly more appropriate

1 coloured mare, 2 grey geldings - derbyshire

Post by TracingEquines »

I have some information on 3 horses found wandering in Derbyshire.

We cannot find anybody locally to claim them, and would be grateful if you would post.

They were found galloping up and down the A6 at Shardlow on Thursday. The police did not know what to do with them, and my friend agreed to take them in to keep them safe and off the road.

Both Leicestershire and Derbyshire Constabulary are aware, as is Lesley Manger of Derbyshire Horsewatch. The reference is 97/23022012

The have spent the last 24 hours in her paddock and are being looked after with haylage and water, and to date nobody has come to claim them.

Two are microchipped, neither are associated with NED passports.

The owners were finally found on Saturday and have been reunited.

Neither of the two chipped horses were registered with NED or Petlog, so a bit pointless paying for chipping!
