STOLEN SHETLAND PONIES - SPREAD THE WORD!

Location - ‪#‎BarnardCastle‬ ‪#‎CountyDurham‬

Four miniature Shetland ponies have been stolen overnight (Thursday/Friday 13th March) from near Stainton Grove, Barnard Castle, County Durham. The owner is understandably devastated.

We currently do not have a photo of the missing ponies however they were:

black and white
rowan
pure black
black coat with a white star on forehead

Did you see any suspicious vehicles overnight?
Please contact Barnard Castle Police on 101 with any information and spread the word!

Owner John Watson, who farms near family business the Jersey Farm Hotel, off Darlington Road, has appealed for their safe return.

All four of the ponies, who measure just 30 to 34ins tall, have been running with stallions and at least two of them are known to be carrying foals

Two of the ponies, Fee Fee and Star, are skewbalds with patched colouring, Pandora is a black and white piebald and Mandy is black and grey.

Owner's son Mark - https://www.facebook.com/madmark.watson.1

All are aged around eight or ten years old and the two in foal could give birth any time after mid April.
