Herefordshire North (Kington and Weobley and Rural Watch Alerts)

Incident 0725s200715 - Burglary (other than dwelling)
Between 20:00:00 on Sunday 19J-UL-2015 and 09:00:00 on MONDAY 20-JUL-2015 at an address in Staunton on Arrow. Offender(s) unknown have entered insecure vehicle at the location via walk through gate at the end of the field off of unnamed country lane. They have then walked across the grounds and approached an open sided outbuilding and have proceeded to unscrew and steal 3 sections of an Ifor Williams trailer.

Incident 0532s200715 - criminal damage
Between 20:00:00 on SUNDAY 19-JUL-2015 and 08:00:00 on MONDAY 20-JUL-2015 at Shobden airfield. During times stated, offender(s) unknown have driven a vehicle into a field of the Airfield. The vehicle has then driven through some barley and maize causing damage to the crops.

Incident 0072s230715 - Theft of Motor Vehicle
Between 23:00:00 on WEDNESDAY 22-JUL-2015 and 07:00:00 on THURSDAY 23-JUL-2015 from a driveway in Baker Lea, Monkland. Vehicle was parked overnight on the driveway. Vehicle is a Blue Land Rover Defender index number H386VFF. A blue land rover was also reported stolen on 22/07/15 in Tenbury Wells

Report of tack stolen from outbuildings in the Little Marcle area of Ledbury. Items taken listed as 2 x saddles, 2 x bridles and bits, 2 x body protectors, 3 x whips, 1 x lunging whip, 1 x leather head collar. Incident 575-S-050116 refers.

A Dartmoor horse Carriage (black) and items of horse tack including a harness stolen.

Stolen, Dartmoor Clipper with Harness - New

A 4 wheel Dartmoor carriage presently configured for a single horse. A rare British made vehicle made from black coloured tubular steel, with brown coloured wooden flooring and black upholstery. The shafts show signs of wear.

The vehicle has rear wheel brakes. This vehicle possesses a very distinctive fault, it`s front onside Dartmoor brand wheel boss (a logo of 3 silver horseshoes) is missing and cannot be replaced to match because these vehicles are no longer manufactured in the U.K.

The vehicle was stolen from Mrs Judy Pinkerton, a well known carriage driving personality on the night of 5-6 April together with harness for a larger horse and a holly whip. Date stolen: Night of 5-6 April 2016

Suspicious incidents reported on a yard in Leysters, Leominster. Pony let out of stable into yard - top and bottom external bolts undone, water turned on by the tack yard and pipe placed to flood the field on two occasions.

Overnight 22 Sept padlocks to gated fields have been cut and horses were able to get loose. The owner heard a noise and saw the horses were out at 05:30hrs, upon investigation found the padlocks to the field had been cut. The owner has recovered the horses; it is thought this was an attempt to steal them. A small car was seen driving in the field on the night. Barns at a neighbouring property have also been rummaged through.

BURGLARY AT STABLE PREMISES, LINTON, ROSS ON WYE
Between 12:00 & 14:00hrs 30/04/2017
Stables premises were broken into and all of the horse tack stolen. Damage had also been caused to other equipment left on site.

BURGLARY, CALLOW, HEREFORD
Between 21:30hrs 29/04/2017 & 07:30hrs 30/04/2017
Stables have been entered. The bridle on a horse had been interfered with overnight and replaced with a head collar, possibly in an attempt to steal the animal.

Offender(s) unknown have entered insecure farm premises and cut off sections of tail hair from 3 ponies.
