Rural and Horsewatch Bulletin – 4 October 2014

Great news from Staffordshire Horsewatch :Thanks to the great working relationship between the equine community and police, three people are in custody and two saddles worth £3000 are to be reunited with their owner.
The saddles were stolen from a van overnight in the Eccleshall area. Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of the theft and inquiries are ongoing.
This is a good opportunity to remind you to always be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately and call 999 if you suspect a crime is in progress. Always secure your valuables at all times and remove tack from vehicles/lorries.
