Trying to trace some foals with Llannor prefix

Post by sparksfly3008 »

Hi, I have Sec A mare who I know has had at least 1 previous foal but I have no idea what it was.

I have been told that she was originally used as a broodmare and there is a stallion certificate in her passport from 2008, this is how I know she has had at least one foal before.

Her name is Llannor Ruby and the Damsire in any of her foals passports will be Llannor Llwynog.

The Sire of the foal from her 2008 covering will be Llannor Sam.

I have looked on http://www.allbreedspedigree.co.uk but as I was the person to add my mare to the site there is no recolection of her foals. I have recently sent a letter to her breeder but as of yet I am still waiting for a reply. There are no previous owners in her passport and as the people we bought her off this year, bought her from Beeston horse sales in 2010, I am assuming that she was with her breeder from birth till 2010 ie after weaning from her 2009 foal.

I know she has a sister Llannor Peggy and there are others too but I have only seen a picture of Peggy.

Please Please Please if any one can shed some light on my mares previous foals PLEASE let me know as I know very little about her background and would love to find out more!

Oh my god that is fantastic thank you so much!

And just to inform, you there is another addition to the family born on 30th aug 2011 Llannor Sparky Fly currently not registered and ruby won't be breed any more. At the age of 14 she will now live a life of pampering!

Can I ask how did you find out that information? Also is there anyway of finding out how her son died and for what reason and what age? Also has any of her foals had foals?

I looked on the NED website to find her progeny details, good job they all had the Llannor prefix though as you'd have had to pay for points or ring WPCS up and ask them.

None of her foals have got any progeny registered on the passports at this current time.

I can't see anything on Google for Llannor Sioncyn so you may have to wait and see if Dennis writes back to you from the Llannor stud, or see if the WPCS would be able to help.
