Caversham horse theft: mare stolen leaving behind nine-week-old foal
Thieves stole a thoroughbred mare called Trotter from a field in Caversham
Thieves have stolen a mare from a field in Caversham leaving behind her nine-week-old foal.
The theft happened between noon on January 11 and 4.30pm on January 16 from Lowfield Farm in Henley Road.
The mare is a 15 year-old, brown thoroughbred called Trotter.
She is 16 hands high, has three white legs and a white blaze on her nose.
Trotter is neither freeze branded nor chipped.
Anyone with information about this incident or the whereabouts of Trotter should contact PCSO Stephen Pengilly at Reading Police Station on 101.
