We have received a report from big cat researchers at Harwood Forest in Northumberland that sheep carcasses have been found in the forest.

STOLEN SUZUKI QUAD BIKE
Location - Hexham
A Red Suzuki 420 Quad bike has been stolen from a farm near Hexham overnight Tuesday 2nd September 2014. The thieves have removed the quad from a barn on the farm.
Recovered nearby at Slaggyford, Hexham is a black Isuzu Rodeo Denver Pick Up bearing plates PX055 SKU
This vehicle was stolen from the Cumbria area, and at this stage it is not known whether it was involved in the theft of Quad.

FARM THEFT
Location - Heddon on the Wall, Newcastle
Overnight on Sunday 14 September a break-in occurred at a farm located at Heddon on the Wall, Newcastle. The occupier had previously noticed a white van behaving suspiciously around the property.
The thieves stole 3 Apple iMac computers (containing precious family photos), lots of tools, two compressors, a generator and other office equipment such as printers.

SUSPICIOUS TRANSIT VAN
Location - Morpeth, Northumberland
In the last few days a suspicious White Transit Van bearing the registration number YP59RRY has been seen in the Miford area of Morpeth, paying attention to rural premises in that locality.
This vehicle has been in the Northumberland area on 4/10/14 & 6/10/14.
If this vehicle is seen, please report the sighting to Northumbria Police Control Room via the 101 number, quoting Log 1274 06/10/14.

STOLEN QUAD BIKES
Location - Newton on the Moor, Morpeth, Northumberland
Police are appealing for information after three quad bikes were stolen from a farm in rural Northumberland.
Between 4pm Thursday, November 13, and 3pm Friday, November 14, thieves broke into a garage at Sheil Dykes in Newton on the Moor.
Two of the quads are Canam models and one is red, the other yellow. The third quad bike is red and the model is unknown.
Enquiries are ongoing into the theft and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
They are especially keen to hear from anyone who might have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around Newton on the Moor in the days leading up to the theft, or in the area around the time of the theft.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 753 14/11/14.

RURAL CRIME IN NORTHUMBERLAND - STAY VIGILANT!
Location - Northumberland
Throughout Northumberland in the last week criminals have been active in the rural areas.
Overnight on Monday 19th January 2015 fuel was stolen from tractor in Hartburn near Morpeth.
On the same night 2 farms in Longframlington were visited. Fuel was stolen from one and a Stihl saw stolen from a farm shed in the other.
Also overnight on Monday 19th January 2015 fencing & wire were stolen from a farm in Horsley.
In the past few weeks a generator was stolen from stables in Bolam.
Finally at 0415 hours on Thursday 23 January 2015 a driveway alarm was stolen in Capheaton when it was activated by the offender.

Location - Whittingham, Alnwick, Northumberland
Overnight on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 January 2015 a farm near Whittingham, to the north of Alnwick, had outbuildings broken into and property stolen including a quad. The offenders forced the hasp on the locked out building to gain entry.

Location - Hexham, Northumberland
A blue Ifor Williams double horse box was stolen from a farm near Hexham, Northumberland between 1400 and 1600 yesterday, Monday 2nd February.
The horse box had the registration number NA09 YKX attached at the time of the theft.
Did you see this horsebox on your travels yesterday? If so please call 101 with any information and spread the word!

An urgent request for information! Since the start of November a farmer who owns a field at Corbridge riverside, near Hexham has had 15 sheep killed by either being attacked or being chased into the river by various dogs in separate incidents.
