Report of horses loose in the lane at Bumble Hole, Bournheath, Bromsgrove. Local resident has secured them until owner identified. Described as 1 x large white horse and 1 x brown and white shaggy looking smaller horse. Incident 469-S-140216 refers.

Numerous reports continuing of loose horses on the A44 at Knightwick today and this evening. Clearly fencing is insecure so please take care if you are in the area. Owners aware.

Loose horse reported on Leighton Road, Buildwas. No description offered but has been secured in a place of safety by local resident. Incident 756-S-150216 refers.

A report has been received of 2 males in a blue Vauxhall Astra with blacked out windows acting suspiciously near 2 rural properties with horses, one in Newton and one in Clifton Upon Dunsmore on 8/9/16. No offences have been committed.

Please be vigilant and if you see anyone acting suspiciously near your property please call the police on 101.

Thieves gained entry to a barn and stables at this rural location, cut off a padlock and chain securing the barn and stole a Jockey wheel and 4 full sets of mud guards from a horse box found inside.

Date: 04/12/2016 - 05/12/2016

Some time between 16.00 hrs on 4th December and 10.00 hrs on 5th December, unknown offenders have entered a secure stables in Grendon and stolen 3 saddles and other items of tack and equipment.

Around above time a business premises has been broken into. 4 males, in a grey Vauxhall Astra car have gained entry into the premises by forcing open a wooden framed door. Equestrian equipment including shoes, boots and horse riding saddles have been stolen.

Trailer stolen from rural home in Compton Scorpion

Please be aware that at some point before 3.20pm on 19 December, offenders removed the padlock from the yard of a rural home in Compton Scorpion, Ilmington and entered the premises.

The offenders then stole a very old double axle, Rednal double horse trailer, with flaking paint. The offenders then managed to get the trailer through corrugated gates after removing padlocks.

Between 17:00 on Saturday 24th December and 10:20 on Tuesday 27th December an unknown offender cut wires on a barbed wire fence enclosing another field of pasture in Alfrick Pound, Alfrick. There were horses in the field but they are all accounted for.

Overnight 10 Jan, an IFOR WILLIAMS 1506 HORSE TRAILER, GREY AND BLACK in colour has been stolen from a farm yard. The trailer was locked with a wheel clamp which has been removed, the wheel hub is missing on the passenger side. The trailer contained inside 2 water containers, buckets, hay nets and brooms.

Between above times and dates person(s) unknown have used unknown means/instrument to damage a padlock securing a donkey stable at farm premises. Entry has been gained and a rummage around, food bags damaged and bins opened to see what is contained within, a cover moved off a carriage trap, however nothing has been stolen from within. This has caused the donkey's to roam and not be secured which has caused concerned.

Suspected Attempted Theft of Foal.

Between 3pm Wed/1.30pm Thurs 25-26 January, a seven month old foal went missing from a field in Poynton Road, Shawbury. The foal was later found some distance away but a fence had been damaged and the foal's green head collar was missing. (OIS incident reference 0336s 260117).
