Toby, 14hh-14.2hh, dark bay gelding

Post by BacolliMum »

I used to ride a lovely gelding called Toby he was fairly stocky build and hairy! From memory he was about 14hh - 14.2hh. Dark bay, cheeky chappie! No idea what breed, probably a Heinz 57.

He lived at Forest Stables in Hatfield Forest, Essex (near Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport) and was used on the riding school, I rode him for a while when I kept my horse there, I used to take hacks out on him to help the yard owner out. He was sold when the school closed down and was sold, I have no idea where he went and would love to hear how he is good or bad. He didn't seem to have may fans on the yard but I loved him, I would have taken him on if I had been able to but at the time just wasn't in a position to take on another horse :(
