Oliver Twist (Ollie), strawberry roan gelding

Post by alivingdiary »

looking for oliver twist/ollie, welsh sec A, strawberry roan chestnut

i'm trying to find my first pony, oliver twist or ollie. (maybe spelt alternatively olly, oli, olly, olli i'm not sure)
not sure if i'm remembering this correctly but a show/passport name of 'lady foxy bee'

about him:
welsh section A gelding.
strawberry roan, possibly classed as chestnut (he had his winter baby woolies on and a white coat was popping through!)
white face/wide blaze.
beautiful bright blue eyes
flaxen main and tail, bushy and wirey!
three, maybe four white socks
slender build, very flamboyant.
he was cheeky but lovely and often clumsy.
when i had him he was unbroken, unschooled, basic halter trained.
very young when we got him, but must be at LEAST 4 or 5 years old now.

where i got him:
bought as a yearling from a meat market (we saved him!)
initially we stabled him at my aunties farm in charnock richard, then we moved him to wigan where he was stabled at martland mill on dianas farm in standish lower ground, wigan, lancashire for a while.

who we sold him to:
we sold him to a lady named helen, and she lived in lancaster with her husband and son.
i remember visiting her at her farm. she kept ollie with another horse called timmy.
timmy was a welsh, too. although he was a much stockier build to ollie.
the farm was in the middle of nowhere, beautiful grazing and countryside.
the farm was down a long lane, no more than a handful of other hoses/farms close.
they had a few chickens that layed eggs, and they had lots of dogs!
i can't remember the year we sold him but it was around 2007/2008 possibly earlier.
well, didn't actually sell him, we GAVE him away, and asked for £50/£100 for all his rugs, feed, buckets and tack etc.

contact me:
if you have ANY idea where he is or if you now currently own him, please contact me, fiona.
