A horse has been reported stolen from Grangewood ( South Derbyshire) at 9.40 pm last night, offender seen driving away was a white male, approx. 5’11” large build wearing flat cap an jeans. Offender drove a white Transit van part reg F53 towing a blue and silver trailer.

12.2hh male skewbald pony, clipped with feathered feet…unknown at this stage what age and if microchipped etc . Also stolen at the same time a saddle and bridle and misc items – details unknown at this stage

Any information , please call Derbyshire Police quoting crime ref 16828/15.
Is there a photo of the stolen pony ? Not yet
Is it a stallion or gelding ? Not known
Has the owner been sent the Stolen Horse Register form ? We will sort the stolen horse register asap once can get hold of owner again

A HORSE has been stolen from a field in a daring theft.

Police want to speak to a man seen acting suspiciously near the stables in Grangewood, Netherseal, last night.

The man was in the area at around 9.40pm and was driving a white transit van, which was towing a blue and silver horse box.

It was later discovered that the stables had been broken into and a brown and white male horse, 12.2 hands in size, had been stolen from the field. Two harnesses, a saddle and five head collars were also taken.

The man is described as white, of large build and around 5ft 11ins tall. He wore a flat cap and jeans.

Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting crime number 16828/15, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Please cancel observations for this horse reported stolen from Grangewood Derbyshire last week….this is now being treated by Police as a civil matter. Thank you for all your assistance and concern,
