Reported: About 10 horses and donkeys on the road.
Outcome: Attended and searched area, no horses or donkeys seen.

Reported: Seven horses on football ground.
Outcome: Local owner retrieved horses.

Chinley, High Peak
Reported: Between 10am on Weds and 8am on Fri someone has stolen a trailer from a field.
Outcome: Attended. Trailer is Ifor Williams CT115 worth £900. No serial no. available but trailer has bent rear lightbar. Reg plate on trailer at time of theft was GF02 HFT. Under investigation.

Reported: Horses have escaped their field and are on football and crickets pitches, they belong to a local owner. It is a regular occurrence.
Outcome: Owner contacted and advised to retrieve straying horses.

Reported: Horses straying form their field onto Coach Road.
Outcome: Horses made their way back into their field.

Reported: One horse on the road near the stables.
Outcome: Attended and searched area, no sign of the horse.

Bluebell Close, Barlborough
Reported: Between 5pm on Mon and 8.30am on Tues unknown person has entered victim’s vehicle whilst parked on drive and removed items of riding equipment.
Outcome: Attended. Stolen items are a bridle worth £800 and two saddles (one black one brown) worth £750 each. The bridle was later recovered in a hedge and the investigation into the outstanding items is ongoing. Local retail outlets, e-bay and car boot sales are also being looked into.

Outcome: This has happened before. Two New Zealand rugs worth £40 and £45, both blue were stolen on this occasion. One was marked with postcode S21 1FL. No CCTV coverage, nothing seen or heard. Investigation ongoing.

Reported: Between 8pm on Weds and 3.30pm on Thurs a lock has been forced from a shed and various items have been stolen including a saddle (no value or description available).
Outcome: No CCTV coverage, no forensic evidence. Under investigation.

Reported: Between 4.30pm on Mon and 7am on Tues a metal lock has been cut off the less substantial of two buildings in a field. Shavings were stolen to the value of £45.
Outcome: Enquiries carried out. The tack items housed in the more secure building were not disturbed. Quiet area, nothing seen, no evidence, no CCTV. Case filed unsolved.

Reported: Between 5.30pm on Fri and 8.30am on Sat a heavy duty hasp and staple was forced from a stable block and items of tack were taken.
Outcome: Stolen items include 6 bridles worth a total of £720 and 60 miscellaneous tack items valued at £3,300 (no further description at this stage). No forensic evidence or CCTV coverage but other lines of enquiry which have come to light are being followed up.
