Petition to protect the title 'veterinary nurse'

Post by TracingEquines »

Dear supporter,

Petition to protect the title 'veterinary nurse'

Thank you for registering your support for giving legal protection to the professional title ‘veterinary nurse’.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has now launched a formal petition to ask parliament to consider this issue. If 10,000 people sign the petition then the Government is obliged to respond. If we secure 100,000 signatories then the issue will be considered for a formal parliamentary debate.

Please sign and share the petition today = https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/106153
Deadline = 14 February 2016

Please also visit = http://www.rcvs.org.uk/vntitle = where you will now find a template letter making it easy for you to write to your MP to ask them to support the Bill.

Should you have any questions about the campaign please contact RCVS Policy & Public Affairs Officer Ben Myring at b.myring AT rcvs.org.uk

Yours faithfully,

Elizabeth Cox RVN
Chair of the RCVS Veterinary Nurses Council
