We are investigating an incident where a car window was damaged at an address on Milbourne St yesterday. The windscreen was smashed by a spark plug which was recovered at the scene. Over the past 7 days, criminal damage has been caused to the play park at St James, Dentonholme, specifically to the swings which have been damaged beyond repair. Dog Bite Incident 31/01/2015 12:00:30 [100874]

Police are appealing for witnesses to trace a male believed to be from the Denton Holme area. He was involved in an incident on Saturday morning around 0900 hours on 31st January with his two border terriers, one of which was bitten by another dog on the bridge joining Denton Holme and Bousteads grasssing. He is described as a white male, mid 50's, six foot tall, well built, wearing a navy blue fleece hat, dark jacket and jeans.

This is a message from Cumbria Police

Police are investigating three incidents whereby vehicles were damaged.

Between 17:00 and 23:15 hours on the 18th February 2015 a Red Ford Focus was scratched upon its driver’s door when it was parked outside of Spar, Burrowgate, Penrith. The damage is estimated to cost £250 to repair.

Between 17:00 hours on Tuesday 10th February 2015 and 10:00 hours on Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 a White Ford Focus was scratched on both front doors when it was parked on Queen Street, Penrith. The damage is estimated to cost £500 to repair.

Between the 17th January 2015 and the 7th February 2015 a Red Ford Focus was dented upon its bonnet when it was parked outside of Spar, Burrowgate, Penrith. The damage is estimated to cost £250 to repair.

We are currently investigating 2 garage burglaries on Talbot rd overnight. Items taken include a white male specialised mountain bike and a female specialised mountain bike. Also taken were a set of tools. Police are investigating a burglary that has occurred on Ullswater Road on 19/02/2015 between 13:30hrs and 18:30hrs where a front door of a property was kicked through and offenders have then rummaged through the house but have taken nothing and all high value goods were left within the property.

We are dealing with a sneak in burglary on Trafalgar St, Carlisle where a purse and other items were taken from the address which was insecure. If you have any information regarding who did this then please call us on 101. We are investigating multiple vehicle damage caused to vehicles on Currock Rd, Carlisle over night. The vehicles, which were all parked and unattended, appeared to have all been damaged by a sharp implement or key which has been scraped along the side. Police are investigating a number of thefts from motor vehicles parked in rural area car parks in the Eden area. Suspects broke car windows in order to gain entry to the vehicle and steal items of value.

We are appealing for information regarding a theft from a petrol station.

An unknown person has filled up a motor vehicle, either a TOYOTA or HYUNDAI, with unleaded petrol and left the forecourt of a garage on Wigton Rd in Carlisle without paying. It is possible the vehicle has either a cloned or stolen number plate similar to SG56 HFC or SG56 MFC. Please keep an eye out and report any sightings to Cumbria police on 101 or be email in reply to this message.

Cumbria police are appealing for observations or information on a Green Toyota vehicle registration number: FT13 FYR.

This vehicle was last seen at junction 41 of the M6 at 21:30hrs last night, 06/07/2015 and then left the motorway at junction 40.
