Hello Everyone

PLEASE NOTE - IF YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS DOES NOT WORK, YOU WON'T GET THE LINK TO CONFIRM YOUR ACCOUNT

Tackroom Gossip (TG) is BACK !!

If you need somewhere to advertise your business, online shop, animals for sale, referral links to websites, it's here. You can post here for free, no charge. Times are hard enough for all of us and if me offering this to you can help you, yippee!

If you need somewhere to vent and let off steam about anything horsey, or non-horsey, please feel free to and know that even if we can't actually help, we will try to understand and be there virtually for you.
It's important to Keep Talking, to anyone, just keep that communication going.

This "cost of living crisis" is getting to all of us, the media are constantly going on about prices rising, bills rising, jobs lost etc. It's all doom and gloom.
Spot a good deal somewhere ? Please share it with us.
Found a yummy recipe online that doesn't cost the earth to make ? We'll try it.

Any problems logging in, please reply to this email and I'll get you sorted out.

Thank you

Just a few changes to let you know about, hopefully they are good ones :)

Collapsible Categories

In view of some of the other changes I made, I've added the option to Collapse the Categories so that you have less scrolling to do and can "hide" certain parts of the forum if you don't want to see them

Clicking the " - " button on the right hand side of each category will hide the section
Clicking the " + " button will show each section, if you had hidden it

MISSING HORSES ON LOAN (MHOL)
I had added these horses into the Horsewatch and Missing Horses section but they are now back in their own bit.
The MHOL domain name was up for sale and with no contact or movement from MHOL on facebook or anywhere, I bought the domain name and it re-directs to this section.

HORSEWATCH and MISSING HORSES
Horsewatch has been sectioned off into county areas and the Missing Horse reports have been moved to the appropriate area.
This means quite a few of the missing horses are not hidden way down the pages and should get looked at more.

In-active members

Instead of sending members a reminder email every week on a Sunday, I am sending the reminders at the start of the month (day 1) and the middle of the month (day 15).
I am leaving the in-active accounts on the system until they are either activated, or I get asked to delete them, or it gets to christmas time when I start to do a membership tidy up

Private message preview sent through email

When a private message is sent to a member, they should get a notification email.
I have added a MOD that has changed the contents on the email.

This is how the notification email used to look (old version)
