Self-proclaimed Somerset horse whisper gets banned from keeping horses after cruelty

A 43-year-old self-proclaimed horse whisper, from Somerset, has been banned from owning horses after being convicted of cruelty inflicted on his own herd.

Raymond Sparks-Clark , 43, of North Lane, Otherey in Somerset claimed he can talk to horses and ran both a rescue and business as a horse whisperer.

But last week he was sentenced at Taunton Deane Magistrates' Court after a four-day long trial. He was found guilty and banned from owning horses for four years as well as given a two year conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £400.
