Equestrian Event Longmynd Shropshire

Event notification

Notification was received today that on Sunday 6th September 2015 an equestrian endurance ride will take place. The ride venue is at Norbury Village Hall and will start from approx 9am and continue throughout most of the day. Riders will ride from the village hall up the Longmynd at Asterton and travel in a northerly direction towards Ratlinghope before returning to the starting point. A number of riders doing a longer distance will then ride up the Linley Estate to the west of the venue.

The route does cross and run along some quiet lanes in the vicinity, and the organisers will ensure that the necessary safety measures will be in place on the day including signage and a road crossing steward where riders leave the venue.

Qualified Paramedics will be in attendance and other emergency services will be informed of the event taking place.

This event is organised by Endurance GB (Cheshire Group.
