A caravan has been stolen from the village of Coldham near Wisbech during the night of the 9th and 10th August, but inside the caravan there was £1000 worth of horse riding equipment. I have no descriptions recorded on the crime at this time, once this has been updated I will forward the descriptions.

A couple of incidents that have happened this week in Cambridgeshire. The Fordham incident worries me as Suffolk have had a few large tack thefts in their county, so please be on your guard and secure your tack or take it home.

First horse trailer stolen in Cambridgeshire for a long while now. Please be on your guard and take additional security steps to prevent your property being stolen. Also report all suspicious activity to us on 101 as this helps us build a picture up of what is happening out there. You are our eyes and ears.

We have seen a steady flow of trailers being stolen from the South Cambs and Fenland areas mainly. They have taken all sorts and this is the second horse trailer since the end of August. Use the hitch and wheel locks on the rear wheels, try and keep them out of sight and record all serial numbers and distinguishing marks. Make sure the trailer is registered to you with the manufacturer as Police Officers will ring the manufactures to find an owner.

Cambridgeshire Horsewatch update

Post by TracingEquines »

As of Friday 29th January I will no longer be a PCSO as I am moving to a different department within the Constabulary. My position will be replaced with another officer but this will take a while.
Management have also decided that there will no longer be a Horsewatch email sent out as the Facebook page has proved to be more successful. So as of Friday there will no longer be any emails and the email list will all be deleted so any paperwork containing your personal details will be shredded.

The Facebook page will continue to be active although there will be a period of time between now and the new officer starting where there will be no posts added.

Apologies and many thanks for your support over the years.

Gemma
