If you are going away on holiday, this is a good idea

If you are going away on holiday and you get a friend or a cat sitter to look after your cats or you decide to put your cats into a cattery, please consider doing this before you go away .. Just In Case.

Make up an "About Me" for each of your cat(s). This could be wrote down in a notebook and left somewhere visible. The idea is that, if your cat managed to escape from the person looking after him/her, that person will have all the correct details and be able to post about your cat on Facebook and contact Vets in the area with an accurate description and photos of your cat.

The following details would be useful

1 - Male or female
2 - What colour your cat is
3 - Neutered (male) or spayed (female)
4 - Microchipped - yes or no
5 - Does your cat wear a collar ? and what colour it is
6 - Where do you live ? A cat could escape and try to make its way back home

Photos are vital as well. If your friend, cat sitter or cattery is on Facebook, send them clear photos of your cats via Messenger. That way, they have them if they need them.

All you need to do now is to have a fabulous holiday.
