Information from Surrey Police continued…
• A man knocked on the door of a home (in Warlingham) where there was a skip outside and asked if he could have the metal that was in it. When he was told ‘no’, he swore at the homeowner and left saying he would be back later. He then left in a silver Nissan Cabstar registration RJ05 EVK. The next day a cast iron bath (amongst other items) was found stolen from the skip.
• Offenders removed the lid from an oil tank in a rear garden at a property on Southlands Lane in Oxted, and stole the oil from within. No-one was seen or heard.
• Offenders drove through electric gate into farm yard (in Tatsfield) and stole 30 sacks of horse bedding from a barn, ignoring other items that were in there. They did leave an item of clothing behind which will be examined for forensics.

STOLEN CHICKENS - SPREAD THE WORD!
Location - Blethcingley, Surrey
At 2am on Wednesday 11th March, thieves stole 7 chickens from a garden in Bletchingley, Surrey.
2 of the chickens are very distinctive. The first, Nugget, is a white Polish who is pretty much blind and relies on the rest of the flock to find her way around. The second is Mango, a mini Silkie cockerel. He's very vocal all throughout the day. The other 5 are rescued ex-battery chickens.
Mango and Nugget were the children's pets that they personally cared for and the children are very upset.
Please call 101 with any information and spread the word!

Stolen Fibreglass Donkey
Area = Surrey
Surrey Police is appealing for any information after a life-size fibreglass donkey was stolen from the Edenbridge and Oxted agricultural show in Lingfield on August Bank Holiday weekend.
The donkey, named Dotty, is the mascot for the Brooke Sussex Group, an animal welfare organisation which raises money for real donkeys working overseas.
It appears that someone stole the donkey sometime between midnight and 7.30am on Monday 31 August at the showground on Tandridge Lane.
PCSO Conrad Cheeseman said: “This is such an unusual thing to steal and we are sure that someone would have seen something or knows its current whereabouts. The donkey has huge sentimental value to the owner and she is equally upset that someone would steal from a charity in this way.
“If you have any information about it then please do the right thing and call Surrey Police so we can return it to its rightful owner.“
