29 April 2016

Report from a resident subject to suspicious circumstances in the Pitchers Hill area of Wickhamford this morning. Here is what they had to say:

"I wanted to report something suspicious in case anyone else had experienced issues. I went to put our horses out today and our pony’s headcollar had been unbuckled around the nose and left undone and tangled up. The headcollar has two buckles on it, the only one I ever undo is the one that goes over the head and buckles at the side. The nose one is for adjustment only and is never undone.

My suspicions are that someone picked his headcollar up by the nose and undid the buckle and as you need to then re-thread part of the headcollar back through and re-connect it for it to work properly, that they were unable to do this in the dark and left.

It is possible to go out of a back gate and into the fields behind us, which is what I suspect was the plan.
This time they didn’t get away with the pony and nothing else seems to have been taken."

Keep your eyes open everyone, report anything suspicious to police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
