Incidents Reported in Baginton

Incident 46 of 1 June – During the night of 31 May into 1 June, offenders entered two sets of gates and into a stable site at a rural business premises in Stoneleigh Road, Baginton.

The offenders then removed the padlocks from a container unit, a stable and a storage area and stole several items including a pony saddle, stirrups,a bit and a driving handle, which were left in bushes by the perimeter fence. Other items including a feeding bag were stolen.

Incident 74 of 1 June – Between midnight and 7am on 1 June, offenders entered the yard of a premises in Coventry Road, Baginton and cut the padlocks off two farm buildings. Several items were stolen from inside.

Please be vigilant and review your security. If you see saw anyone or have any information that could help the police with their enquiries please call 101 and refer to the inc number stated.

Concern Over Youths Chasing Horses in Whitnash

The Police have had reports that a group of teenagers have been chasing the horses around fields in Whitnash, this is causing a lot of distress for the horses but the Police are also concerned that someone could get hurt by the horses.

Incident 103 of 22 June - Wolston: During the night of 21 in to 22 June, offenders entered a field containing horses, off Dyers Lane, Wolston and stole 2 large batteries used for electric fencing.

Tools Taken and Horses Let Out in Withybrook

Incident 84 of 5 July – Withybrook: During the night of the 4th into the 5th July, unknown offender(s) entered the stables of a premises in Main Street, Withybrook and stole a Bell cement mixer and a field post rammer. The offenders also released 4 horses from the stables. All of the horses were later recovered, safe and well.

Horse Tack Stolen From Wixford

Incident 179 of 15 July – Wixford: During the night of the 14th into the 15th July, unknown offender(s) entered a secure building at a premises in Church Lane, Wixford, Alcester and forced off the padlock. Once inside, the offenders stole 5 head collars and 4 bridles before making off.

Tack and Tools Stolen From Rural Property Near Fillongley

Some time between 22.30 hrs on 28/7/17 and 06.00 hrs on 29/7/17, unknown offender(s) accessed secure outbuildings on Green End Road, Fillongley and stole 8 saddles, 10 bridles, a wacker plate, stihl saw.

Quad Bike, Tools and Horse Tack Stolen in Claverdon

During the night of the 3rd into the 4th September, unknown offender(s) parked a vehicle on Manor Lane, Claverdon and then crossed fields to access the rear of a rural home. The offenders cut padlocks to several barns, stables and outbuildings before making off with a quad bike, power tools and saddles.

The offenders used wheelbarrows to transport the items back across the fields and trailers and wheelbarrows were discarded in the fields.

Horse Trailer Stolen From South Leamington

Some time between 10pm last night and 9am this morning a horse trailer was stolen from a property in South Leamington, CV33. If you see this trailer anywhere or have any information that could help locate its whereabouts please call Warwickshire Police and quote crime reference 23S6-37782R-17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Lets make this too hot to handle and get it back to its rightful owner.

Items Stolen From Horsebox in Ansley Common

A Horse Watch member has advised us that sometime between 8pm on 9/10/17 and 9am on 10/10/17, unknown offenders have broken into a secure horse box at a rural premises in Ansley Common and stolen adult show wear jackets, long show and hunting boots plus various riding hats including a patey and several antique showing whips. Damage was also caused to the vehicle. If you saw anyone in the area around this time acting suspiciously or have any information that could help the police with their enquiries please call 101 and refer to crime reference 23/1039/17, incident 117 of 10/10/17.
