Willow, 12.1hh, skewbald mare

Post by hannahbanana1993 »

Willow is rising 16 (2014) my father bought her for me in 2003, she was semi wild with foal at foot.
We took willow from an abusive home where she had very little trust in humans. We took her from Pewit road, Hampton, Evesham to lakeside llivery in church lench, Evesham. There we were able to handle her in safer surroundings and start breaking her in at 6 years old.
After we had her handled to a point where we could move her to somewhere ore quiet we did just that. She was taken to Norman Badger's in-front of "the lakes" where I was able to break her in myself after a year of handling her, gaining her trust and doing lots of road work with her, she was 8 when she went out on loan for the first time (she wasn't very good to load) she came back a few weeks later and went out on loan to Harry Sykes of Flyford Flavel after a few months of being home.
With Harry willow went through pony club and learnt a great deal more. I taught her to jump, go into an outline, leg yield, sit down, and control her with just my body (no bridle or saddle).
Willow was sold behind my back by my mother in 2007 shortly after my dad passes away to a Clare Cowley from Crowle (North Lincolnshire). This is where the trail ends.

I have no more information past this point. I'd really like to find willow as she was my very first pony and I learnt a lot from and with her.

I just hope she's okay, and if she's ever up for sale again I will be more than happy to buy her back.
