Lottie (Wernddu Lottery), bright bay mare

Post by LottieAndJaffa »

Wernddu Lottery (Lottie) 15 y/o bright bay mare

I am looking for history on a bright bay mare (white star) born 28-5-99 in wales.
She is registered with the Welsh Horse and Pony Society as a Part-Bred Welsh (Sec.D x Hunter). Her dam is Harvest Venture (info on breeding would be lovely!) and Gerrig Llew, making her half sister to Helpful Harry II and Llainbanal Monica (Rosie). These are the only two that came up after some google searching although I am aware of names of others.
I bought her in 2011 from a couple who had owned her for around 18 months, yet she has two other registered owners (plus breeder). She has once been well schooled, yet seems to dislike jumping, can be spooky, and is incredibly traffic shy. She has a lovely willing nature despite this, and is very honest and trustworthy. She doesn't love cuddles or attention, but likes it when you are on the yard/in the field with her. She likes to be turned out 24/7, and prefers to be with one horse or pony that she can bond with, but also be in charge of!
She is gorgeous in every way and is with me for keeps, but I would like to know her history and if I'm lucky find photos of her before me!

Sorry the images aren't great, but hope these help.

What area was Lottie in when you bought her ?
Have you tried writing to previous owners and breeder ? (if the details are in her passport)

Shared on facebook and twitter
Fingers crossed for some news

I bought her in Gurney Slade, Somerset, but she was bred in Wales! I haven't yet contacted the other names listed in her passport, as some of them I can't actually read!
