STOLEN TACK WORTH £10000
Location - Bethnell, Shropshire
Between Wednesday 20 May and Thursday 21 May 2015 over £10,000 worth of riding equipment was stolen from stables near Bethnell, Shropshire.
The offenders took a large quantity of horse rugs, saddles and reins.
Due to the large number of items stolen, it is thought the offenders would have been there for some time and with a large vehicle.
Please call police with any information quoting reference number 62S of 21 May.
STOLEN TACK WORTH £10000
Location - Bethnell, Shropshire
Between Wednesday 20 May and Thursday 21 May 2015 over £10,000 worth of riding equipment was stolen from stables near Bethnell, Shropshire.

Appeal: Theft in Wadborough, Worcester
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following the theft of a horse trailer containing personal belongings stolen from a field on the Wadborough Hall estate.
The horse trailer was taken between 9pm on Monday 13th July and 6pm on Tuesday 14th July 2015.
The horse trailer is described as a dark green 'Rice Beaufort' double horse trailer with four chunky Land Rover tyres with spare fixed to rear.
Sadly as the victim was in the process of moving house the trailer had been filled with a range of personal belongings including a kitchenware, LG fridge, soft furnishings, desk, digital piano and 1940 Batwing Radio.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call West Mercia Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 591s 140715.

Straw Bales stolen from the Montford Bridge area of Shrewsbury
150 large bales of straw have been stolen from a field close to Shrawardine, Nr Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury between 3pm on Monday 10th August 2015 and 12:00 Tuesday 11th August 2015.
The location of the bales is rural and remote and it is believed that a trailer would have been needed to move such a large quantity of straw.
If you saw anything suspicious around this area please call 101 and quote incident number 239-S-110815

Burglaries of Stables (TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE)
BURGLARY OTHER THAN DWELLING - THEFT took place between 18:00:00 on TUESDAY 01-SEP-2015 and 06:00:00 on WEDNESDAY 02-SEP-2015 at a FARM premises, BUILDWAS, TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE
Between times stated Person(s) unknown has accessed the stables via an adjacent field, parking a vehicle at the bottom of the track leading to the field. They have taken four saddles from a cabinet, a pair of ridding boots from a box inside another stable. From a brown storage box they have taken a riding hat and a bridle in a bag. From another stable they have taken a hat and a stable which were located in a cupboard, and an unknown quantity of rugs. They have used two wheel barrows used by the stable, to transport the items across the field, back down the track and to their vehicle. The wheel barrows where left where the vehicles had been parked, and some items had been left behind on the track.

ATTEMPT BURGLARY NOT DWELLING WITH INTENT TO STEAL
took place between 13:00:00 on FRIDAY 28-AUG-2015 and 12:30:00 on TUESDAY 01-SEP-2015 at ADDERLEY RD, MARKET DRAYTON, SHROPSHIRE
Location is a stable and yard situated on the A529 Adderley Road, near to Spoonley. The yard is accessed by a locked large metal gate, then onto a hard core drive and into the yard. On the yard IP has a wooden stable, the doors and side of the stable have been damaged where wood has been ripped off. IP believes this is an attempt to gain entry. Entry to the property was unsuccessful. Offender(s) unknown also poured the horses water away.

Up-Date of property stolen - HORSE TACK
Following a report of a burglary at Downton, Upton Magna, Shrewsbury, Shropshire last week where a pedal cycle is believed to have been taken. It has now come to light that a large amount of horse tack has also been stolen.
The incident was reported on Thursday 3 September. (OIS incident reference 0172s 030915

LARGE AMOUNT OF STRAW BAILS STOLEN
26.5 Tonnes of Straw Bails Have been Stolen
Between 07:00 on 10th September 2015 and 05:30am 11th September 2015, approximately 26.5 tonnes of straw have been taken from a field near to the Eaton Constantine area of Shrewsbury.
Due to the volume taken an unknown vehicle would have been used to transport the straw. Did you see anything suspicious in that area around the times stated above that may be able to help us with our enquiries? Maybe you have seen someone walking around fields or a vehicle parked in a lay-by for a considerable amount of time? If you can help please contact West Mercia Police using the 101 number and quote Incident Number 0078S 11092015. You can also report anything anonymously using Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
Rural Crime is important to West Mercia and the local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be conducting further enquiries in the hope of locating the stolen straw and returning it to the owner.

Around 13:13hrs 3 Dec report of 3 white males, aged in their 20s. Males entered the yard of an equestrian centre in a red Dodge pick up truck and asked about horse feed. It was noticed they were paying particular interest in trailers and other equipment. Males drove off towards the industrial estate in a Red Dodge Pick up truck, displaying VRM: FA53AHJ
No offences disclosed at this time.
Force Incident Number: 0300S 021215
Suspicious Circumstances –FARM , QUATT, BRIDGNORTH
02 DEC at around 13:13hrs. 3 males entered a farmyard in the same Red Dodge pick up truck involved in the above incident. Males again said they were looking for horse feed. No offences disclosed at this time.

There have also been similar reports of the same vehicle at Pasford in Pattingham (Staffs Police)

Loose Horses reported to have been running in the road in the area of Hinstock, Market Drayton - one of them was subsequently hit by a car. Horse and car driver reported to be safe and well.
Please make sure your fields and fencing are secure as this type of incident can be fatal - both for the horse and road users. Ensure you have suitable equine insurance as this could happen to anyone.

01.33hrs - 3 horses reported on a driveway in Lea Cross, Shrewsbury. Described as all in rugs, 2 x black cobs & 1 x grey pony. Incident 33-S-150216 refers
