Tracing Equines

HORSE WATCH ALERT 08/09/2014

A Horse is believed to be stolen from a field in Shifnal (Shropshire, TF11). This happened on Saturday 5th September between 12.30 - 2pm

It is believed that offenders have walked across a corn field to reach a 17 acre sized field that is rented by the owner. They have then removed posts supporting the fence and have walked the horse across the corn field to a waiting vehicle possible a 4x4 with a trailer.

The Horse is an 18 month old Cob, 13.2 hands, black and white with a grey patch on the side of its neck. Its face is Black and White with a flash down the centre of its face. At the top of the flash there is a black spot. At the time of the theft it was wearing 4 white socks

A few weeks before the owner noticed that the mane had been plaited on the horse. If you have any information that can help police with their enquiries please call 101 quoting reference number 557s050914
