Duchess is a stunning but cheeky mare who loves being worked. She is large and stocky 16.2hh Cob/Irish Draft X with a white blaze and white stockings on both of her hind legs. She schools extremely well, with lovely paces and hacks out alone and in company. Will live in or out and is currently stabled at night and turned out during the day. Duchess is great to shoe, turn out, catch, box and clip. She gets on great with other horses and has no vices. She can be quite nervous and babyish at times but settles well to a strict yet calm and encouraging hand. Needs someone who is willing to put plenty of time in, as this horse has great potential. A strong and confident rider is needed. Duchess has Aural Plaques in her ears and has had this since birth. It has been seen by a vet however, they advised to leave it alone if it is not causing any trouble. You cannot touch her ears but this has never caused a problem as she wears an endurance bridle which you can put on her with no problems. The bridle will come with her. Sadly having to sell due to new work commitments which have resulted in lack of time, which is not fair to this beautiful horse.

Rocco has raced 6 times so he is eligible to compete in ROR classes. Having won the first qualifying stage at Bishop Burton, Rocco came 2nd in the country at the 2012 Baileys feed jumping and style 100cm final at Solihull, having only been beaten by 1 point! He has been successfully competing British Eventing at 90 level and has proven very talented getting placed 4th in the ROR section and 6th in his actual section at Richmond on only his second ever BE outing. His dressage scores are always very low within the twenties and he has a full eventing record/history which can be found. He has numerous wins and places show jumping. He very rarely has a pole. He makes a lovely shape when jumping and likes to stand off a fence. Rocco has countless 1st place rosettes at unaffiliated dressage. He really turns heads in the arena, the judges always like his tests and he would easily affiliate to go do British Dressage. He needs a confident rider as he can be cheeky hacking out, sometimes if he sees something he doesn’t like he will try it on. Same applies for the jumping, but with a confident and knowledgeable rider he will fly! He is ridden in a snaffle for every discipline even XC. Rocco needs a home with someone who would possibly like to compete or do riding club things as he is too good to waste. It is a very sad sale and he is only for sale owner doesn’t have the time for him as is busy riding other people’s horses, teaching pony club, and other eventer and upcoming horses.
