I would like to update that I have found Merlin's previous owners, and will be contacting them soon. Thank you so much for this forum, such a great thing to have available. If you wish to remove this now you may do. THanks again for all the help and advise

Thank you again for the advice. I spoke to Farmkey and they do have Merlin on their system. It looks like the LoU isn't for anything too serious as it just has a code of D4 unfortunatly they do not know what this is for so I am trying to find out. They are also going to pass my details to his previo...

I bought him from a riding school that was closing down in our area last October. I have tried searching on the internet etc but no luck so far. He has a Spanish passport so I do not know whether there was a previous passport or not. Sorry I don't have more information that that.
